Port Washington’s Finest Upscale Inn, boasting unsurpassed service, comfort and elegance, with a premier village location and magnificent views of Lake Michigan and the Port Washington harbor. With 10 beautifully appointed and luxurious rooms, the Inn combines old world charm and architecture with modern-day convenience, service and amenities. In an effort to insure a world class experience for all our guests, we have designed our Inn room policies to insure every stay will be filled with lifelong memories.
RATES AND OCCUPANCY – All rates are quoted as double occupancy and are subject to sales and local sales tax.
DEPOSITS – Reservations must be guaranteed with a VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Diners card. To confirm your reservation, a deposit equal to one night’s stay is required within (7) days after the reservation is made. A credit card must be on file even if accommodations will be paid for by cash or approved corporate check.
CANCELLATION – A refund of deposit will be made if a cancellation notice is received at least 48 hours prior to arrival date/check in time. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice prior to your arrival date or no-shows will be charged one full night’s room and tax. If a later cancellation is necessary, and we can re-rent the reservation, the refund will apply.
WEEKEND MINIMUMS – Advance reservations for Saturday nights require a two night minimum stay May thru September. As we do occasionally experience cancellations, we encourage you to call to check availability. Holiday weekend and special event weekends may require a three-night stay. October through April there is no minimum stay required.
SMOKING POLICY – The Port Hotel is completely a non-smoking facility. Any charges resulting from deodorizing the property or other smoke related maintenance shall be the financial responsibility of the occupant of said room; this includes but is not limited to false alarms with the Port Washington Fire and Police Departments and lost revenue. Furthermore, the act of smoking voids any discount rate and said occupant will be financially responsible for all discounted room revenues.
DAMAGES POLICY Damage to hotel property – We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
REMOVAL OF HOTEL PROPERTY – We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.
CHILDREN – Sorry, we do not have facilities for children under the age of 18 years old.
PETS – We do not accept pets; however, boarding arrangement may be made through The Port Hotel Restaurant & Inn at the Highlands Hunt Club.
