During the Renaissance, the Bed evolved from a simple wooden frame into an expressive, decorated, piece of furniture.  This room boasts a 17th century inspired Italian Bedroom that embodies the splendor or old Italy.  Both the high headboard and the handsome footboard are decorated with ogee chamfered framing and raised paneling as well as intricately shaped dentils.
